We are deeply honored to commemorate Sgt. Cameron A. Meddock’s extraordinary legacy of patriotism, bravery, and selfless sacrifice by inducting him into the Rush Limbaugh Hall of Patriots, Class of 2024.

Sergeant Cameron Meddock, a proud native of Spearman, Texas, realized his lifelong dream when he joined the U.S. Army in November 2014. From the moment he enlisted, his passion for service was unmistakable, and his unwavering enthusiasm made him stand out, even during boot camp. A star athlete in high school, his natural talent, discipline, and perseverance quickly led him to Ranger School, where he excelled. His fellow soldiers knew him as an outstanding Army Ranger who modeled patriotism and courage while succeeding in every area of training and service.

During his second deployment with Company A, Second Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment in Badghis, Afghanistan, Sgt Meddock was wounded in a small arms fire exchange on January 12, 2019, and later succumbed to his wounds on January 17, 2019, at the age of 26. At the time of his passing, his wife, Stevie, was expecting their daughter, Brinley, who is being raised with the same love of country and the great outdoors that defined her father’s life.

Sgt. Meddock was the epitome of an American Patriot and is a true American hero. With profound gratitude, we proudly salute Sgt. Meddock and his family for their service and ultimate sacrifice to our great nation.
