Rush was one of the kindest and most generous people I have ever known. He loved our country and saw potential in every single American no matter their circumstances or background. He knew our country was not perfect, and there would always be challenges along the way, but he adamantly believed how fortunate we are to be Americans and that the United States of America is truly exceptional. In his honor, through the Rush and Kathryn Adams Limbaugh Family Foundation, we will continue the mission to care for the next generation of Americans, our United States Armed Forces and their families, and those facing hardships brought on by medical crisis.
I often speak with inspiring young Americans who are doing extraordinary things and pursuing their dreams. Soon, we will be announcing the first American Patriot Scholarship recipient in Rush’s honor and share stories of everyday heroes.
Over the years, and particularly in these last months, we have received the most heartfelt and wonderful letters and gifts from all over the world, from people describing in detail their personal connection to Rush. It provides true comfort to know Rush will live on in the hearts of so so many. When sitting in our library at home, Rush often expressed his love for you, his unwavering supportive audience. His bond with you is truly special, unbreakable, and eternal.
My best to you,
